Fort Collins 4×4 — South College Avenue Northern Colorado Overland Outfitting and Truck Accessories Shop

Fort Collins 4×4 has been around since 1985 and is now the specialty brand under Total Automotive on South College Avenue. The shop is ASE certified and says it does overlanding outfitting. Its website lists bumpers, brush guards, lighting and wiring, towing upgrades, truck bed systems, rooftop tents, dual-battery power, water and fuel solutions and recovery gear. Alignments and lift/level work are done in-house. It’s a good place to get an install done before a run into Roosevelt National Forest or up the Poudre.

This is a repair-and-install shop with a showroom, so don’t expect a walk-in gear store with shelves of freeze-dried meals. Phone ahead, (970) 482-5500, and check what’s in stock. The website lists Monday to Friday, 8 to 5, but verify before you drive over. Some listings still use the older Fort Collins 4×4 name. Have a dirty day.
